Our People

Daniel Towne was born in North Queensland.

He has predominantly worked in the Cairns area for the past 28 years, firstly with Gayler Cleland Towne Lawyers and then in his own firm of Daniel Towne & Associates.

He is now a director in the legal corporation operating the legal firm of Daniel Towne Lawyers.

In the times he was not in practice in North Queensland he has worked in Brisbane for the Queensland State Government and was also employed as Special Counsel to the Brisbane based firm of Sciacca’s Lawyers.

He has enjoyed a great variety of work during his legal career and has been involved in a number of high profile cases in both North Queensland and Brisbane.

His experiences have given him a balanced and practical view of the law that now assists clients in attaining practical legal solutions.
